Chris Campbell on U.S. Government's Response to Coronavirus

Duff & Phelps Institute Chief Strategist Chris Campbell talks about the U.S. government's response to coronavirus and what an emergency declaration means on Yahoo Finance’s “On the Move.”

“It allows for every emergency management agency, specifically the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and National Guard, to be more readily available to state governors and the federal government. It also opens up an enormous amount of money from the FEMA Disaster Relief Fund, almost USD 40 billion, which will be available for allocation from the U.S. government to the states impacted by the virus. It takes away a lot of red tape,” Chris said.
